We are a not-for-profit initiative. Nobody here is getting rich from this — the money buys bus fares, field days, stipends and the tools our partners keep.
Small amounts, specific things
These are the actual line items in a pilot budget. We would rather name them than talk about impact in the abstract.
A day in the field
Travel, food and materials for a two-person research pair (Students) spending a full day with users in a district.
A student's cohort term
A stipend (and support material) that lets one student take part in a twelve-week cohort without giving up paid work.
One Full Sprint
Fieldwork across departments (transcription, translation & Framing), Design and concept testing with the partner's own team.
A pilot, end to end
Research, design and a measured test in one district — the whole cycle (with the help of 2-3 students) that produces evidence a department can act on.
Pilots that can scale, run by people who will stay
The most useful thing a small amount of money can buy in Pakistan right now is evidence: proof that a specific change to a specific service works, in a form a public institution can act on.
The second most useful thing is a young designer who has done that work once and now knows how. We fund both at the same time, deliberately.
Students/Fresh-grad first
Stipends let students from every background take part, not only those who can afford unpaid work.
Evidence, not opinion
Every pilot reports what failed as well as what worked, with operational measures beside user ones.
Built to hand over
Partners keep the research, the tools and a trained team, so a donation funds capability, not dependency.
Small enough to start
One district, one counter, one referral slip. Change that proves itself before it asks for a budget line.

Donors receive the same pilot report our partners do: what we set out to test, what the evidence showed, what it cost, and whether we think it should scale. Including the times the answer is no.
